Who We Are
BLD Consult was founded to bridge the gap between real-world entrepreneurship and strategic growth consulting.
We combine hands-on operational experience, human-centered business design, and access to flexible capital — helping founders scale, restructure, or exit with confidence.
Headquartered in Chicago, with operations in Miami and Toronto, BLD Consult is trusted by founders, investors, and institutions seeking both strategy and execution.
2020 - Toronto: Founded with focus on logistics startups.
2020 - Toronto: Expanded into space, quantum, and healthcare sectors.
2023-2025 - Chicago & Miami: Expanded to U.S. markets. Fundraising, CDD, scaling.

Iskandar Gadirzade
Entrepreneur. Investor. Operator.
After successfully scaling and exiting multiple businesses in logistics and transportation in Toronto, Iskandar relocated to Chicago with a mission: to create a consulting and investment firm that blends rigorous operational know-how with bold entrepreneurial spirit.
His journey includes:
-
Failure and resilience: A first failed logistics venture, carrying over $250k in debt and priceless lessons.
-
Entrepreneurial success: Scaling and selling four businesses — a truck rental facility, a trucking company, a truck body shop, and a mechanic shop.
-
Investment and business design leadership: Advising startups through Creative Destruction Lab (CDL), serving as Business Designer in Residence at Rotman School of Management, and supporting entrepreneurs globally.
Today, he leads BLD Consult with the same hands-on, execution-driven mindset that built his entrepreneurial career.
